HAPPY 44TH BIRTHDAY JOHN A. FRUSCIANTE! I can’t imagine my world without you or your music. Thanks for changing our lives ♥
GOD ! I love him
Anthony Kiedis with Everly and Helena Vestergaard in Malibu, California on February 16, 2014.
Today, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be 31 years old, 31 years old who conquered the world with his charisma and a song that makes everyone dance, despite many battles. I am completely in love with you, as well as millions of other people. Thanks for existing RHCP.
HAPPY 31ST ANNIVERSARY TO THE GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD!On this day in 1983, the Red Hot Chili Peppers played their first live show at the Rhythm Lounge in Hollywood. "I had a bass line and had Hillel do guitar to it, and then we went to the show and played and people love it. We had a whole choreographed dance thing. We did our dance and then played "Out In L.A." and it was pretty fucking explosive. We did it and it was just BAM! From the first note. A five-minute set. Anthony came with a boom box and the dance, and then the song — it was like two minutes. Sometimes bands just sort of creep into it and find their way, and bam — for us it was from the get-go." — Flea
ANTHONY: To play music till the day I die, to be a good friend to all my friends, and to be nice to nature.
JOHN: Goals are the kind of things that tend to throw a man off. Right now I feel like I’m doing something that’s really worthwhile for the world, which is playing some of the most ground-breaking music of all time in the Red Hot Chili Peppers. And to me, when you have that sort of beauty in your life, goals aren’t necessary.
CHAD: When I finish up my musical career, I would like to join the golf tour, because it’s a very suave sport and you can play as long and as old as you want.
FLEA: To be rocking for as long as James Brown, but not end up in the hoosegow.
